INNOVACIONES EN SOFTWARE
* ESPECIFICACIONES DE HARDWARE *
        Los requisitos en equipo ("hardware") para que pueda correr un programa/aplicación ("software") dependerá del tipo de de programa. Por ejemplo, existem programas robustos que requieren un buen sistema, tales como AutoCad (empleado para generar planos), 3Dmáx (para animaciones en tres dimensiones), Adobe Premier (Para editar video), entre otros. Todos estos softwares requieren un sistema más moderno, con un procesador rápido (P-IV, 2.0 gigabytes de velocidasd -Mhz) mayor memoria (e.g., 1000 - 1500 mb, DDR), un disco duro grande (80-180 gigabytes), un monitor de 17 a 21 pulgadas. Por el otro lado, programas como MS Word, no requieren un equipo de computadora tan sofisticado.  Otra varieble que afecta los requisitos de hardware es el sistema operativo en que se habrá de correr el programa.  Por ejemplo, Windows Xp requiere más memoria y un procesador rápido.  A continuación se enumean algunos programas y sus requisitos de hardware y de sistema operativo.
